Suitable for beginners, and students of all ages and fitness levels, this gentle, slower-paced class typically includes breathing techniques (pranayama) followed by detailed instructions on how to practice each posture. Includes standing, balancing, back-bending, and seated poses, with options given throughout the class for participants of varying degrees of strength and/or flexibility. This 60 minute asana practice is followed by 15 minutes of exploration of various approaches to mindfulness and meditation.
